Saransh

    Saransh (25 years) resides in Kalyanpuri, East Delhi. His family is financially poor state with his father being the only bread earner of the family. Saransh completed his 12th under CBSC from Delhi but could not continue his studies due to financial constraints in the family. To assist his father in running the family, Saransh engaged himself in some odd jobs, but he always looked for decent living and earning to lighten the burden of his parents. By sheer luck, he happened to get a leaflet of Sadik Masih Medical Social Servant Society which invited unemployed youth for Skill Developing Training Programme sponsored by National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) . Saransh enrolled into the House Keeper cum Cook at SMMSSS – Trilokpuri from 12.02.2018 to 31.03.2018. He has completed two months rigorous training programme successfully and after completion of training programme, he was incorporated into the organization where he underwent on-job training. Today, Saransh is working as Sales Executive at Dhrupath Mall, Noida City Centre earning a monthly salary of ₹15,000.00. He is very happy and satisfied that he can be of support to his family in terms of financial needs...

Neetu

  Neetu was born and bought up in Mangolpuri slum of Delhi. She could only study up to class 8th due to poor economic condition of her family and got married at 21 to a mechanic who could only fetch unto Rs. 2000/- a month. Unfortunately, he lost his job and after that, Neetu’s family was challenged to even meet the expenditure of basic needs. Neetu was very passionate to learn different methods of cooking, and wanted to learn it professionally so she entered Anand Skill Center run under PMKVY.  The General Housekeeping cum cook training at the center came as a boon for her. There she not only learnt how to prepare different methods of cooking but she also recognized her inner self and got confidence to become an entrepreneur. Today, she owns a tea stall having a wide range of food items using the training imparted to her at Anand Skill Training center and now she earns Rs 8000-10,000/- per month easily. Neetu feels very indebted to PMKY programme which has changed her and family life...
