Brief Job Description: A Home Cook prepares all kinds of food required in a
household. He or she also cleans and puts away dishes after meals, and
maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring quality standards
Option 1 – Non Vegetarian Dishes: A Home Cook with potential to cook common
non vegetarian dishes such as meat, fish and poultry through different methods
Option 2 – Continental Cuisine: A Home Cook whose cooking includes the
better-known dishes of various western European countries involving the use of
olive oil, wine, garlic and various herbs and spices.
Personal Attributes: The job requires the individual to have a good grasping
power and ability to learn quickly especially through observation. He or she must
be well groomed, punctual and be able to work in all types of working conditions.
