Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council had signed the MOU with Punjab Skill Development Mission on 6th of the Month of Feb, 2017 with the objective of Outcome based Trainings, Assessments and Certification on Qualification Packs (QP) and National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the PSDM sponsored trainees.

Background and Purpose 

PUNJAB Skill Development Mission (PSDM) has been established in the state to carry forward the skill development initiatives in a coordinated manner. To achieve this, the Mission will integrate efforts of various departments of the State and Central Government organizations engaged in providing skill development training and make available employment oriented and placement linked training in vocational skills to State youths.

Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission

Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council had signed the MOU with Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission on 5th of the Month of March, 2017 with the objective of Training of Trainers Programme and Outcome Based Trainings, Assessments and Certification on Qualification Packs (QP) and National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Trainees trained under various skill development schemes implemented by MPSSDM.

Background and Purpose

MPSSDM is a body under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh to act as the apex body for monitoring, coordination, convergence and providing overall policy direction for skill development activities in Madhya Pradesh. TheState Government has set up State Skill Development Mission as a nodal body to anchor the skill development agenda in the State. MPSSDM is expected to play a significant role in escalating the pace of skilling, through identification of key sectors for skill development in the State, as well as coordinating with State Govt. Departments, industry and private training organizations. In order to ensure that the State is able to translate the large availability of working age population into a demographic advantage, the State would be launching various skill development schemes to raise the skilling quotient of Madhya Pradesh by providing access to short term demand driven training courses to youth in employable trades.

Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council had signed the MOU with Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission on 17th of the Month of August, 2016 with the objective of Outcome based Trainings, Assessments and Certification on Qualification Packs (QP) and National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the UPSDM sponsored trainees

Background and Purpose

Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been established in the state to carry forward the skill development initiatives in a co-ordinated manner. The Missions envisions that by the end of the Twelfth Plan Period, all the youth of the state who do not want to, or cannot, due to any reason including financial, pursue formal general education after class 5th, would have fair choices to acquire skills that are relevant to the employers, at a reasonable cost and within reasonable distance from their residence and would have the facility to obtain professional counselling in making good choices, based upon their interest and aptitude and also employment potential of the skill and would also be facilitated in obtaining placement / employment after acquiring certification. To achieve this, the Mission will integrate efforts of various departments of the State and Central Government organizations engaged in providing skill development training and make available employment oriented and placement linked training in vocational skills to 45 lakhs youth in the age group of 14 to 35 years by 2016-17.

Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society

Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council had signed the MOU with Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society on 16th of the Month of March, 2016 for assessment and certification of trainees trained under Saksham Jharkhand Kaushal Vikas Yojana (SJKVY) and any other programmes of JSDMS.

Background and Purpose

JSDMS has launched a new scheme for skill training in Jharkhand, the Saksham Jharkhand Kaushal Vikas Yojana (SJKVY) under Pilot Phase. The scheme aims at employment of 70% of successful trainees through placement-linked and self-employment based programs using curriculum based on Qualification Packs (QP) and National Occupational Standards (NOS) of respective Sector Skill Councils.

The scheme will be implemented in the state of Jharkhand. Through this scheme, high quality skills training aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and responsive to industry needs will be imparted to the youths of the state.

Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation

Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council had signed the MOU with Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation on 18th of the Month of November, 2016 with the objective of skill training which includes Curriculum Alignment with QP/NOS, Assessment& Certification of the Trainees of RSLDC empanelled Training Providers, organizing Training-of-Trainers (ToT) program, focus on quality improvement of “DWSSC” Sector Skill training program and facilitate placement of trained certified youth.

Background and Purpose

RAJASTHAN SKILL AND LIVELIHOODS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (RSLDC) is a ‘Not for Profit’ company. RSLDC has been established in the state of Rajasthan to carry forward the skill development initiatives in a coordinated manner. The Corporation envisions that eligible youth of the state have fair choices to acquire skills that are relevant to the employers, at a reasonable cost and within reasonable distance from their residence and would have the facility to obtain professional counselling in making good choices, based upon their interest and aptitude and also employment potential of the skill and would also be facilitated in obtaining placement / employment after acquiring certification. To achieve this, RSLDC has also been integrating efforts of various departments of the State and Central Government organizations engaged in skill development training and make available employment oriented and placement linked training in vocational skills to youth.
