CENTRAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT
National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC)
This department focuses on the uplifting of the lives of Backward Class and Economically Backward Class people by providing them employment linked training. NBCFDC not only funds the entire training but also provides a stipend to the candidates to motivate them to attend the training.
National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation
There is a segment of the society which is still doing the scavenging work even after its declared illegal in India. This NSKFDC department has been tirelessly working to empower the unemployed people of this segment and DWSSC is proud to be a part of it through the training programs being run under this flagship. Unlikely to other two schemes of the Ministry, NSKFDC gets the data prepared for all the deserving scavengers and their dependents from across the country. These people also receive a good amount of stipend for the training duration they undergo.
Scheduled Caste is still one of the weakest segments of Indian Society and hence NSFDC is handholding and supporting this group by funding the employment linked training to the unemployed youth.
DWSSC has been working with NSFDC since 2017 and this collaboration has been very successful in its approach. NSFDC also provides the stipend to the trainees for the duration of the course so that they need not to drop the training in between due to pressing requirement of earning the money.
